What information we collect, why, and what control you have over it.

1. What we collect

Account info — name, email, phone number, password (hashed with bcrypt, never stored in plain text).
Delivery addresses — full address, pincode, landmark, and the GPS coordinates you select on the map.
Order history — what you bought, prices paid, payment method, and delivery timestamps.
Device + browser — basic logs (IP, user-agent, referrer) for security and fraud prevention.
Payment data — we do not store your card numbers or UPI handles. Payments are processed by our secure payment partner; we only keep the transaction ID for refund / reconciliation.

To process and deliver your orders.
To show you products from shops within your delivery radius.
To verify identity and prevent fraud.
To send order updates by email / SMS / WhatsApp (transactional messages only — no marketing without consent).

The vendorwho fulfils your order — only your name, contact phone, items ordered, and the vendor doesn't see your full address.
The rider assigned to your delivery — name, phone, full address, and GPS for navigation.
Payment gateway — only the data necessary to process the payment.
Law enforcement if required by valid legal process.
We never sell your data to third-party marketers.

We use a session cookie to keep you logged in and a CSRF cookie for form security. We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

View / download all your data from Account → Profile → Data export — download a JSON file of your orders, addresses, and account details anytime.
Correct or delete your account anytime by writing to privacy@bbmbazaar.in. We'll delete within 30 days; some data (invoices, tax records) is retained for 8 years as required by law.
Opt out of marketing emails via the unsubscribe link or by writing to us.

BBM Bazaar is not directed to anyone under 18.

If we change this policy materially, we'll notify you by email at least 7 days before the changes take effect.
